After the workshop organized in Diyarbakir by the DTK (Democratic Society Congress) there have been many meetings in various cities to discuss the "Democratic Autonomy" model proposed by the DTK.

Neighborhood assemblies have been formed in different cities and in Diyarbakir and Cizre they have already held their foundation congress.

Many politicians from Peace and Democracy Party (BDP), representatives from NGOs and mayors have attended the congress in both cities.

The assembly chairs and members were elected end of the congress.
