Dozens of Kurds in Aleppo were kidnapped by some armed groups for no reason and taken to an unknown destination.
Armed groups set up temporary checkpoints around Aleppo's Şêxmeqsûd and Eşrefiyê neighborhoods and at many entrances to Aleppo city and reportedly kidnapped at least 40 Kurds and took them to unknown locations.
Some sources say that these groups are armed groups affiliated to the al-Amshat mercenaries affiliated to the occupying Turkish state, while others say that they are groups affiliated to the “General Security” of the Damascus administration.
Groups at checkpoints on the Şêxmeqsûd - Bagdad Station road and the Ewarêd highway reportedly stopped vehicles bearing license plates from Afrin or the neighborhoods of Şêxmeqsûd and Eşrefiyê and abducted the occupants without any reason.
According to reports, at least 40 people have been abducted so far, all of them Kurds.
