Democratic Kurdish Society of Belgium held the second congress in the city of Liège with the participation of KCK (Kurdistan Communities Union) Executive Council Member Zübeyir Aydar, KCD-E (Kurdish Democratic Society Congress in Europe) Co-chairs Murat Ceylan and Dılşa Osman as well as a number of delegates.

Speaking at the congress, KCK Executive Council Member Zübeyir Aydar called for the enhancement of election campaign and support for the reconstruction of Rojava, West Kurdistan.

Remarking that Turkey and North Kurdistan is going through a historic process, Aydar called attention to the importance of general elections on June 7, and called on everyone to enhance the works for the election campaign.

Aydar emphasized that; "Leader Apo (referring to Abdullah Öcalan) has made an enormous effort for the building of a democratic and free life in the region with the participation of all societal circles. Besides failing to appraise these effort, the AKP continues insisting on its old policies."

Pointing to the Rojava Revolution, Aydar said; "Our actual struggle is beginning now. The defense and construction of Rojava is the defense and construction of Kurdistan. All our people should take part in this process with all their strength."
