78-year-old Kurdish woman jailed in Muş for “aiding the PKK”

As part of the AKP regime's ongoing operations of political genocide, a 78-year-old Kurdish woman was jailed in Muş province for “willingly aiding the terrorist organisation (PKK)”.

The AKP regime's political genocide operations continue increasingly ahead of the April 16's referendum that aims a public approval of the presidential system desired by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

MUŞ

78-year-old Kurdish woman Sisê Bingöl and her son Zafer Bingöl have been jailed in Teknedüzü (Badan) village in Varto district of Muş. The mother and son, accused of “willingly aiding the terrorist organisation (PKK)”, have been sent to Muş E Type Closed Prison.

Sisê Bingöl with several health problems had also been jailed in April of 2016, and released after 2,5 months in prison.

İZMİR

On the other hand, police forces conducted house raids in Konak, Buca, Menemen, Karabağlar and Bayraklı districts of İzmir. Police forces broke the doors of the targeted houses to get in, and conducted a detailed search in each house before detaining 13 people who include administrators and members of the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP).
