Turkish police arrests increase 4 days before the elections. During this morning’s simultaneous operations in Şırnak, 8 children and 22 adults were arrested.

Special ops police officers raided several houses in Şırnak this morning and detained 30 people, 8 of whom are children. Armored vehicles accompanied the 3 am raids where police broke the doors and the windows of the houses they attacked. The simultaneous operation targeted YDG-H members in Şırnak and Silopi.

After their health examination in Şırnak State Hospital, the 30 arrested were taken to police headquarters.
