The operations of the YPG/YPJ forces against the ISIS gangs are continuing in the Cizîre and Kobanê cantons of Rojava. While 3 villages have been liberated in Kobanê, 21 gang members were killed in the Xêbiş and Til Nesrîyên villages of Til Temir and in Serêkaniyê.
It has been reported that at least 20 gang members were killed in the Xêbiş and Til Nesrîyên villages of Til Temir in clashes that broke out yesterday afternoon. The clashes are reported to be continuing in the area since yesterday. In Serekaniye, YPG/YPJ forces carried out an attack on 2 gang members digging trenches, leaving 1 of them dead, the other wounded.
In the meantime, YPG/YPJ forces and Burkan Al-Firat fighters have liberated 3 villages -2 Elgan villages and the village of Cabiriya Metres - in the south of Kobanê within the scope of a joint operation that was launched 11 days ago. The gangs reportedly suffered heavy losses while the exact number of casualties could not be clarified. It is also reported that a large amount of ammunition was seized by the YPG/YPJ and Burkan Al-Firat forces.
