13 years and 9 months jail sentence for co-mayors of Van's Erciş district
Co-mayors of Van's Erciş district municipality held by the DBP have been given a prison sentence of 13 years and 9 months.
The hearing of Van's Erciş district municipality co-mayors Diba Keskin and Abdurrahman Çağan, and 21 other Kurdish politicians who stand trial for "declaring self-governance" on October 12, 2015 has resumed at Erciş High Criminal Court today.
The court board sentenced Erciş co-mayors Diba Keskin and Abdurrahman Çağan to 13 years and 9 months in jail.
