The story of internationalist Ivana Hoffman to become a film

The story of Ivana Hoffmann, who fell as a martyr in the fight against ISIS in the Rojava Revolution, will soon become a documentary. The filmmakers called for support and launched a crowdfunding campaign.

The story of Ivana Hoffmann is a story full of revolution, struggle, and humanity. She grew up in Duisburg, Germany, in a working-class family and realized early on how unjust and contradictory the world we live in is.

With her unique personality, humor, and positive attitude, she was a great comrade. Her courage and determination made her a revolutionary role model. She wanted to contribute to changing the world. In 2014, she decided to go on a special journey. She wanted to be a part of the revolution in Rojava and set out to fight against imperialism and colonialism. The rest is history.

Your comrade, Ivana Hoffmann, are the last four words in Ivana Hoffmann's farewell letter. Four words that, for a group of filmmakers, activists, and politically committed people, are the beginning of a project to further publicize and spread Ivana and her convictions as a revolutionary.

The group has launched a crowdfunding campaign and explained that they "don't just want to retell Ivana's inspiring story - we want to make it tangible with a film. Of course, a single film alone cannot do that. Rather, it will be the sum of all attempts to bring Ivana Hoffmann's complete reality to the new generations and oppressed people of the world."

The group added: "The film is not just a project for us, but a responsibility towards Ivana and the generations that did not have the opportunity to get to know her. Such a film can only be the result of collective cooperation. Our mission: we want to tell Ivana's story, show her courage and exemplary intransigence, and encourage young people to be militant and raise their voices against injustice and oppression."
