The Congress of Democratic Societies of Kurdistan in Europe (Kongreya Civakên Demokratîk ên Kurdistaniyên li Ewrupa-KCDK-E) made a written statement regarding the latest wave of attacks by the invading Turkish state and allied gangs against North and East Syria.
The KCDK-E statement on Sunday includes the following:
“The occupying Turkish state, which historically wants to expose the Kurdish people to genocide and resorts to all dirty methods and massacres to this end, has launched an attack on Rojava with barbarian gangs.
The aim is to target and defeat all the gains of the Rojava revolution through attacks directed against the civilian population and residential areas and with the goal of occupation and siege.
The target of the occupying Turkish state and barbarian gangs is the free and democratic common life of all peoples living in North and East Syria, especially the Kurdish people. The aim is to prevent the people of the region from governing themselves with their own will. This attack, which continues in front of the eyes of the world, is realised with the approval of international powers. This wave of attacks, which will affect the whole of Syria, aims to complete what the defeated ISIS could not do.
The Turkish state and the dictator Erdoğan, who has financed the barbaric ISIS gangs and provided them with all the support, including logistics, and terrorised the Kurdistan geography, will be frustrated. However, the danger is great. Against the invasion attacks directly targeting the Rojava Revolution, our people should play a role in repelling this invasion by acting with the highest level of sensitivity and standing up wherever they are, and this embracement will be a great morale for the resisting people of Rojava.
The main goal of the genocidal Turkish state is to create chaos by eliminating the Autonomous Administration and to drench the Middle East in blood together with barbarian gangs. It is certain that this plan, which is part of the wars of interest in the Middle East, is realised under the supervision of global powers. Taking advantage of this opportunity, the Turkish state wants to commit genocide in line with its racist aims.
It is the Turkish state that stands behind the attack by the gangs seeking to pit peoples against each other. The Turkish state has mobilised all its means to prevent the development of a democratic solution in Syria. They want to eliminate the women's revolution by invading Rojava.
For this reason, it is our fundamental duty to increase solidarity with the Autonomous Administration, which is shaped by the will of the people in North and East Syria against the genocidal attacks of the Turkish state. We call on everyone to actively mobilise in solidarity with the Autonomous Administration, which represents the will of the peoples of North and East Syria. Our people must mobilise to defend the Rojava revolution and its gains wherever they are.
We call on our people living in Europe to take to the streets with the spirit of Kobanê against the terrorist attacks of the genocidal Turkish state, to stand in solidarity with the peoples of North and East Syria, to protect the gains of the Rojava Revolution, to expose the bloody face of the dictator Erdoğan everywhere, to take to the streets as of the moment and to increase the reaction with actions and protests.”
