Turkish military carried out a bombardment on Suncê village in Amadia district of Duhok province, South Kurdistan the day before. The attack left one villager dead and another wounded.

First aid for the injured villager came from HPG guerrillas. The injured civilian said that his uncle's body was torn into pieces during the attack.

On the other hand, locals that are trying to get to the scene to reach the slain and injured villagers are also being targeted by Turkish soldiers with artillery attacks.
