Kobanê Resistance published into book 'Notes Fallen to the Ground'

Researcher and writer Mürsel Yıldız collected the diaries of YPG/YPJ fighters who fought against gangs in Kobanê in his book, 'Notes Fallen to the Ground'.

Diaries kept by YPG and YPJ fighters who fought during the Kobanê resistance process were published into a book named 'Notes Fallen to the Ground'. Mürsel Yıldız collected the diaries of hundreds of fighters including Nejat Suphi Ağırnaslı, Mizgîn Cûdî, Karim Franceschi, Medya Meysa, Viyan Amara Kobanî and Rubar Amed and turned them into the book “Notes Fallen to the Ground” from Goran Publishing.

The book, which has a foreword by writer Haluk Gerger, tells the story of the conditions under which hundreds of fighters have lost their lives in Kobanê. The diaries, as handwritten notes in Kurdish, Turkish and Arabic can be seen in photographs in the end of the book. Researcher and writer Mürsel Yıldız declared all proceeds from the book will be donated to the Kobanê Language Institution (Saziya Zimanê Kurdî-SZK).
