For the third consecutive month, the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries continue their aggressive attacks on areas of northeastern Syria, using all types of weapons, including warplanes, UCAVs, and heavy weapons.
In a statement providing information about the latest developments on the ground, SDF Press Center said the following:
“On the Tishreen (Tishrin) Dam front, the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries shelled the dam’s countryside and the surrounding villages with heavy artillery yesterday, Tuesday. Meanwhile, Turkish occupation warplanes launched several airstrikes on the village of Khirbet al-Zamala in the northern countryside of the dam, resulting in material damage.
In an attempt by the occupation mercenaries to launch an attack with suicide drones on our forces’ positions, our forces were able to shoot down four of them.
On the Qereqozax (Qara Qwzaq) front, the occupation’s warplanes launched several airstrikes on the village of Ghasq, near the Qereqozax Bridge, resulting in material damage. The Turkish occupation and its mercenaries also bombed the villages of al-Tina, Ja’dah, Bir Hisso, Ghasq, Dekan, Melha, and al-San’a, as well as the Sefi Hill and Qereqozax Hill, indiscriminately shelling them with more than 80 shells, causing material damage to the homes and property of the civilians.
In response to the attacks and shelling by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries, our fighters conducted an operation targeting the Turkish occupation bases in the vicinity of Qereqozax Bridge, damaging an armored vehicle type (BRDM) and an armored personnel carrier. They also carried out another operation targeting another Turkish occupation base on the western axis of the Qereqozax Bridge, where four Turkish occupation soldiers were confirmed injured and two radar systems destroyed.
On the Deir Hafer front, Turkish UCAVs continued to fly over the region throughout yesterday.
