Yazidi women held a press statement in Yerevan condemning the isolation imposed on Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan by the Turkish state.
Kurdistan Committee President Jînya Qadir spoke on behalf of the Yazidi women in Armenia.
Remarking that the Turkish state seeks to make the Kurdish Freedom Movement and the Kurdish people surrender through its isolation policy against Öcalan, saying; “We need to act with the awareness of the fact that the freedom of Kurds is dependent on the freedom of the Leader. The more we strengthen our organization and works to this end, the easier we can ensure the Leader’s freedom.”
Qadir called on all concerned international institutions to act for the freedom of Öcalan, adding; “Our primary task is to struggle and do our part against the isolation of our Leader.”
