In Cizire Canton the first Women's Psychological Observation Centre continues to carry out its work.
So far dozens of women have been treated by the Women's Council at the Martyr Nalîn Mûş Women's Psychological Observation Centre, which was established on 8 March in the village of Til Maruf, in Tirbespiyê.
Four specialist psychologists are following the center's work, and counselling units have been opened in Qamishlo, Hesekê and Chil Axa.
Xelat Şêxmûs, one of the executives of the Women's Council of Cizire Canton, said that they opened the centre to offer psychological support to the women in the region.
Xelat told that women who were treated centrally were kept under observation for months.
Women have experienced many different types of traumas and need to be followed and helped with psychological support and aid.
