DTK co-chair and HDP Hakkari MP Leyla Güven is on the 109th day of her hunger strike demanding the end of isolation against Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan.
Human Rights Defender, Peace Activist Nimet Tanrikulu and Filiz Uguz, feminists Özengül Ergün and Seher Kalkan, Cumhuriyet Newspaper journalist Isil Özgentürk visited Leyla Güven at her home in Amed.
After the visit the women said they pledged to be Leyla’s voice of peace.
Leyla Güven said that solidarity visits are giving her morale and said: “We did not start the war but we will start the peace.”

HDP Istanbul MP Dilşat Canbaz and Revolutionary Democratic Women also visited Güven. They underlined that isolation is at the core of all problems.
Families of some of the prisoners on hunger strike also visited Güven.
