Civilian people are taking part in the Resistance of the Age in Afrin where attacks by the Turkish army and allied jihadist groups continue ceaselessly since January 20.

Members of the Social Defense Forces–Women (HPC-JIN) are giving weapon training to women from Kongreya Star, the Kurdish Women's Movement of Rojava, as part of the global campaign “Women Rise Up for Afrin”.

Many women are participating in the training that is given in a tent set up at the Martyr Arin Park as the importance of self-defense against increasingly ongoing attacks grows.
