Local and party officials as well as many women attended the workshops organised by the Free Women's Movement (TJA) and Democratic Regions Party (DBP) in Bozova, Suruç and Halfeti districts of Urfa.
DBP Amed Provincial Co-Chair Sultan Yaray stated at the workshop held in Bozova that the special war aims to put pressure on society and emphasised that women should stand together against these attacks.
Sultan Yaray stated that the absolute isolation imposed on Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan is a part of the special war policies.
Speaking at the workshop organised in Suruç, DBP Central Executive Board (MYK) member Narin Gezgör said that women have been the target of special wars throughout history.
Pointing to attempts to enslave women, Narin Gezgör underlined that women must struggle against these initiatives.
The women participating in the workshops emphasised the importance of resistance against the special war policies and expressed the need for women to raise their voices and organise themselves.
With the message "We will not submit", the workshops will be finalised with a final meeting in Halfeti in the evening.
