The Youth Council under the roof of the Syrian Democratic Council (MSD) has promoted a young women's culture workshop.
The workshop has taken place in the Aziziya neighborhood of Hesekê with the participation of 200 young women.
MSD co-chair Emine Omer, MSD Executive Board Chair Ilham Ehmed, co-chair of the Northern and Eastern Syria Autonomous Administration, Siham Qeryo also joined the workshop.
Banners were put up on the walls of the hall where the workshop was organized, together with photos of the women who became symbol of the women's struggle.
In her speech, Rena Ehmed, MSD executive, drew attention to the role of women in the preservation of culture.
On her part, MSD co-chair Emine Omer said that in the process of revolution in Northern and Eastern Syria, women achieved many gains to overcome the reactionary traditions.
