Turkish-backed mercenaries kidnap 3 women in occupied Gire Spi

In the war in Northern and Eastern Syria, the Turkish state and allied mercenaries continue to commit brutal crimes against women.

Citing local sources, the Rojava-based Hawar News Agency (ANHA) reported that the Turkish-backed Ahrar al-Sharqiya gangs have kidnapped 3 young women in the Turkmen village of the occupied Gire Spi (Tal Abyad) city.

According to the sources, the kidnapped women were identified as Şehama Faysal El Abdullah, Teyma İbrahim El Esved and Hevla Yasim El Mela.

The Cizire Region Human Rights Organization also reported that 23 women have been murdered since the invasion attacks on Girê Spî and Serêkaniyê, 2 women have been subjected to sexual assault, and the fate of 12 abducted women is unknown. According to the data of the organization, 60 women were injured in the invasion attacks.
