Fighters of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) partaking in the Operation Cizire Storm have freed 30 years old woman Rita Habib in al-Shuaitat village of Deir ez-Zor.
The Syriac woman from al-Hamadaniah village of Mosul city had been abducted by ISIS gangs during their attack on Mosul in 2014.
Since then Rita Habib was sold to number of IS members in Mosul, then transferred to Raqqa, Mayadeen and then to al-Shuaitat village of Deir ez-Zor.
The woman was handed over to Cizre Women’s Council to be reunited with her family.
