Kurdish Women’s Movement in Russia executive member Kurdistan Lezgiyeva spoke to ANF about the preparations for the Kurdish Women’s Conference to be held in Moscow on Saturday.
Lezgiyave stated that the conference would be held as part of preparations for the Third National Kurdish Women’s Conference.
Lezgiyave said: “Conferences are being organized by Kurdish women’s organizations across Kurdistan and abroad under the lead of Kurdistan Communities of Women (KJK) in the scope of preparations for the Third National Kurdish Women’s Conference. Here in Russia Kurdish Women’s Movement will start its works with a conference to be held at Riverdale Work Centre at 10:30 Saturday. Another main agenda topic of our conference is the freedom of Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan.”
A number of delegates from Tambov, Saratov, Nijni Novgorod, Krasnodar, Moscow, Yaroslavl and the Republic of Adygea will be attending the conference.
