Activists of the Kurdish women's movement in Russia have protested in Novoalexandrovsk in Stavrapol Krai against violence against women and the Turkish attacks on Kurdistan.
Kurds living in the Russian town of Novoalexandrovsk have condemned the increasing cases of femicide and rape in Turkey and Northern Kurdistan. Activist Jasmin Amoyeva read out a statement in the name of the Kurdish women's movement in Russia, which drew attention to the increasing violence and pointed out that the only solution is the women's liberation struggle.
Jasmin Amoyeva said that women are the most affected by the attacks of the Turkish state spreading to all parts of Kurdistan and reminded of the total isolation of the Kurdish leader Abdullah Ocalan and the occupation attacks on Southern Kurdistan and Rojava. Amoyeva called the silence of the international community regarding the Turkish state's actions contrary to international law unacceptable.
The statement ended with the slogan: "Women are life - do not kill life!
