KCD-E calls for strong participation in tomorrow's march in Paris

A mass march will take place in French capital Paris tomorrow to mark the fourth death anniversary of Sakine Cansız, Fidan Doğan and Leyla Şaylemez who were murdered in the heart of French capital Paris 3 years ago.

Democratic Society Congress of Kurds in Europe (KCD-E) has released a statement calling for mass participation in tomorrow's Paris march in memory Sara, Rojbin and Ronahi.

A mass march will take place in French capital Paris tomorrow to mark the fourth death anniversary of founding member of PKK Sakine Cansız, KNK Paris Representative Fidan Doğan and Kurdistan Youth's Movement member Leyla Şaylemez who were murdered in the heart of French capital Paris 3 years ago.

The march under the main slogan “We demand justice” will start at Gare du Nord at 10:00 tomorrow morning and end at Bastille Square.

KCD-E, the umbrella organization of Kurdish institutions in Europe, called upon all Kurdish people and their friends across Europe to join the march.

Recalling the execution by Turkish state of three other Kurdish woman politicians -Sêvê Demir, Fatma Uyar and Pakize Nayır- in Silopi three days ago, KCD-E said perpetrator of both cases, which killed three Kurdish women dead in Paris on 9 January 2013 and three others in Silopi on 5 January 2015, was the same.

KCD-E said this perpetrator -the Turkish state- on the other hand massacres Kurdish youths and children brutally in devastated Sur, Silopi, Şırnak, Nusaybin and Cizre. The Congress emphasised that the Turkish state aimed a genocide against the Kurdish people through a “plan of collapse”, aggravated isolation of Kurdish leader Abdullah Öcalan and a policy of repression against civilians, as part of which cities are being burned to the ground, women are being executed, children are being murdered blatantly, youths are being kidnapped and their lifeless bodies are being left out in dark places.

Voicing commitment to the popular struggle against all savage and dark practices, executions and murders committed by the Turkish state, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Prime Minister Davutoğlu, KCD-E said they believe this fight will be crowned with victory owing to the brave resistance of the people.

In order to own and support the struggle of Kurdish women and youths that persistently resist AKP fascism and Erdoğan's repressive ruling, to ask account of the Kurdish women savagely murdered in Paris and Silopi, and to demand freedom for Kurdish leader Öcalan, Democratic Society Congress of Kurds in Europe called upon the people of Kurdistan and their friends to ensure mass participation in tomorrow's march in Paris.
