Members of the Izmir Branch of the Human Rights Association (IHD) Women's Commission sent cards to women in prison who are recovering from the hunger strike.

Speaking on behalf of the women who got together at Konak Post Office Branch, Cemile Karakaya from Women's Commission said: “We are here to send greetings to those heroic women who were able to turn darkness into light.  And we women say that the future will be as we expect. Our rivers will reach the seas. We are a drop in this wide sea, we are with you."
