In the Raqqa operation dubbed the Great Battle, fighters continue to advance in Raqqa, making new gains by the minute. The YPJ Press Center has published footage from Raqqa where fighters are seen freeing hundreds of civilians used by ISIS as human shields.

The footage clearly shows the fighters taking on great risks to free hundreds of civilians. The fighters transport the civilians they free to a safe zone and aid them.

The freed civilians voice their joy for being free of ISIS.
