Body of missing Kurdish woman found in Darmstadt
German police found body of Saray Guven (47), a Kurdish woman missing since August 20, in a forest in Munster, a small town near Frankfurt.
German police found body of Saray Guven (47), a Kurdish woman missing since August 20, in a forest in Munster, a small town near Frankfurt.
Police Department in Frankfurt found a woman’s dead body in a forest area in Munster (Hessen) Friday night. The body was deformed beyond recognition but with the help of family members, the police identified her as Saray Guven, who is missing since August 20.
Family members told that the police showed them clothes and a ring that matches the one’s Guven was wearing the day that she was lost.
The police sources confirmed a body was found but they have to wait for the results of further tests before declaring the identity of the deceased.
A person identified as Hayreddin Tandogan was arrested in Colmar, France in connection with Guven’s disappearance. He is awaiting trial before he will be transferred to Germany to face possible murder charges.
