72-year-old woman jailed in Mardin
An elderly Kurdish woman was imprisoned due to an approved prison sentence.
72 years old Fatma Dinler was taken into custody after casting her vote earlier today.
The woman was facing a lawsuit for allegedly “opposing the law on meetings and demonstrations” because of her participation in some demonstrations and events.
The woman is facing 10 month prison sentence and she has been put in jail on Sunday.
