The fourth training unit of the Women’s Defense Units /YPJ) has started at the "Martyr Rojda Minbic" Academy in Ain Isa. 32 new YPJ fighters are trained politically, culturally and militarily for forty days.

At the opening ceremony, which began with a military ceremony, Zinarîn Qamişlo, one of the commanders of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), said the training offered the fighters the opportunity to break free from patriarchal structures and develop a free personality. The commander called on the YPJ candidates to use this option in a disciplined way.
