Hollande will launch an appeal for a no-fly zone in Syria

France’s former president Francois Hollande is preparing to launch an appeal for the creation of a no-fly zone in northern Syria, Le Parisien reported.

According to the newspaper, Hollande and aides will launch an appeal for a no-fly zone in northern Syria to stop Turkish airstrikes which killed hundreds of civilians.

Le Parisien attributed the information to Khaled Issa, Rojava’s representative in France.

Issa said that Hollande understands that Afrin's fight today is the exact replica of Kobane.

“By driving out the Kurds, Erdogan is replacing the jihadists in their place. And they will be able to start training terrorists again who will then strike in France!" Issa said.
