YPG and YPJ international release video about 15 February

The YPG and YPJ International have released a video about the meaning of 15 February and the abduction of Abdullah Öcalan.

15 February marks a black day for revolutionaries and freedom-loving people worldwide. On this day in 1999, the Kurdish people’s leader Abdullah Öcalan, was abducted in an international conspiracy and consequentially put in prison in Imrali.

The YPG and  YPJ International have released  a video about the meaning of 15 February and  the abduction of Öcalan.

Presenting the video, the YPG and YPJ International said: "The life and philosophy of Abdullah Öcalan inspired millions of people to fight for democracy, ecology and women’s liberation. As Internationalists, we came to join the Rojava Revolution because we found inspiration within the revolution that is based on Öcalans philosophy. As internationalist members of YPG/YPJ, we condemn the conspiracy. But however they try to attack our longing for freedom, they will never be able to take what we found here: hope."
