Women's Council condemns the Turkish attack and the “shameful silence” of international community

The Women's Council in North and East Syria condemned the Turkish attack that targeted a car in the city of Qamishlo yesterday, resulting in the martyrdom of 4 people, including 2 children.

The Women's Council in North and East Syria released a written statement condemning the UAV attack by the Turkish state on the Sinaa neighborhood in Qamishlo on Saturday. According to the statement released by the Media Center of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) today, the attack resulted in the martyrdom of SDF fighter Rokhaz Amuda and three civilians, including two children.

The Women's Council stated: "The pace of terrorism of the Turkish state is increasing day by day, as it continues its hostile approach against the peoples in North and East Syria with the aim of destabilizing stability, safety and creating a state of fear and chaos among people.”

The statement continued: “Yesterday afternoon, a drone of the Turkish occupation bombed a car in the industrial market in Qamishlo, which led to the death of 4 people, including 2 children, and wounding of others, in a clear violation of all moral and human values."

The Women's Council in North and East Syria condemned "this criminal act against civilians," as well as the "shameful silence of the international community" regarding the crimes of the Turkish occupation in North and East Syria.
