Two ISIS members captured in Deir ez-Zor

Two ISIS members were captured in an operation carried out by the Internal Security Forces in Deir ez-Zor.

On 19 July, two ISIS members were captured in an operation carried out by the Anti-Terrorist Forces (H.A.T) of the Internal Security Forces (ISF) with the support of the International Coalition in the northern region of Deir ez-Zor.

According to a statement issued by the Internal Security Forces of the North and East Syria, the operation was carried out against the hideout of 2 ISIS members as a result of the work carried out by the General Security Organisation against ISIS cells.

‘Both terrorists were involved in activities such as targeting our military and security forces and attempting to intimidate citizens,’ the statement said, adding that weapons and explosives possessed the gangs were seized during the operation.
