The Democratic Society Movement (TEV-DEM) said in a statement that "the occupying Turkish state continues its attacks on the infrastructure, educational institutions, health and oil centers of Northern and Eastern Syria. These attacks destroy living spaces and prevent the development of the democratic system in the region."

The statement added that the Turkish state attacked the region because of its unwillingness to recognize the rights of other institutions.

The statement also condemned the hypocrisy of the UN Security Council and issued a call to regional powers and parties, youth and women's organizations as well as civil society organizations to strengthen solidarity and be united against the attacks.
