The Press Office of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) has announced that SDF operations against ISIS cells continue in Heseke and Deir ez-Zor regions of North-East Syria with the participation of International Coalition forces.

According to the statement published on Tuesday, 6 ISIS members have been captured during operations in Hawayij region of Deir ez-Zor and Mergeda region of Heseke.

Those captured include mercenaries sought for various crimes including planting mines in the region.

The statement said that a large quantity of ammunition and a sum of money has been confiscated in the operations.
