The People's Assembly of the Democratic Union Party (PYD) made a statement against the invading Turkish state's attacks on North and East Syria.

PYD stated that the occupying Turkish state was defeated in the political and military field, therefore turned into a terrorist state and barbarously attacked the region, targeting the infrastructure in front of the eyes of the whole world.

"This is a genocide attack, an attack against the Kurdish, Arab, Syriac, Assyrian, Turkmen, Circassian and Armenian peoples. It is against all religions, against common life and future. It violates all humanitarian law and laws of war. We condemn the shameful attitude of the international community and call on it to fulfil its responsibilities."

Appealing to the International Coalition, PYD said, "Your silence against these attacks means that you are responsible for the consequences of these attacks. Therefore, we call on you to put an end to your silence and take the necessary action against the massacre of our children. We also call on the Democratic Forces to support the people of the region."
