Thousands of people from Qamishlo gathered at Sonî Junction and staged a march in protest at the attacks of the occupying Turkish state. The people made it clear that they are on the side of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).

The march ended at the Martyr Qehreman Junction where Talet Yûnis spoke on behalf of the People's Initiative and stated that everyone should unite and revolt against occupation.

Talet Yûnis said, “We appeal to all peoples and all components in Syria; we need to strengthen our unity. Together we will frustrate all the policies of the occupying Turkish state. All political forces should take their hands off conflicts and personal interests and listen to the call of the people. Today is a historic day for us. After decades, we will be able to voice the demands of our people and secure the rights of the people of North and East Syria with a single vision.”
