People of Euphrates Canton condemn Turkish attacks on Northern and Eastern Syria

The people of the Euphrates Canton condemned the attacks on Northern and Eastern Syria, vowing to "strengthen their resistance against the occupation."

In response to the Turkish state’s attacks, residents in the Euphrates Canton protested with marches and public statements. In Sirîn, the march began at the Martyrs' Square and continued to the city’s entrance, where Qadiri Town Council co-chair Basil Ebdullah denounced Turkey's aggressive actions.

Basil Ebdullah said: "The occupying Turkish state is bombing service areas, economic centers, and all public spaces. Therefore, we will always stand strong and continue our struggle. We will adopt a firm stance against these attacks and never show weakness."

Kongra Star: Turkish state drowning in fascism

Additionally, the Kongra Star Euphrates Canton Coordination held a statement event at the Free Women’s Square, where member Meysûn Kewar read a message. Kewar emphasized that “the Turkish state is drowning in fascism, and relentlessly bombing the people of Northern and Eastern Syria.” She added that, despite the barbaric, ongoing attacks, the communities of the region are responding with resilient resistance.

Statement from the Health Board

The Kobane Health Board also held a press statement. Speaking in front of Kobane Hospital, Health Board co-chair Ezîze Îbrahîm highlighted that the Middle East is experiencing a historic period. She noted that the Turkish state is targeting essential community resources, including infrastructure, economic centers, hospitals, and grain storage facilities.

Ezîze called on international organizations to take immediate action to stop the Turkish state’s attacks.
