A tent was set up by the Revolutionary Youth Movement of the Euphrates Region with the slogan "Time for Leader Öcalan 's freedom".

After 4 days of protest attended by dozens of people, the action will be suspended today, Newroz, but will resume tomorrow, Monday.

Members of the Sirîn district council and the people's municipality members also joined the action on Saturday.

Stating that they organized the protest against the invading Turkish state, Sirîn District Council member Hecî Mihemed said: "We salute the resistance of our military forces and underline that we will resist until the last drop of our blood."

Young people announced that they will continue their protests until news are given about the health condition of Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan.
