One ISIS operative captured in Til Hemis

SDF affirmed their "unwavering commitment to tracking down and eliminating ISIS terrorist cells, dismantling their hiding places, and cutting off their resources to preserve the security and stability of our regions and ensure the safety of our people."

As part of the ongoing fight against ISIS remnants and terrorist cells in the regions of north and eastern Syria, the operational Units of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) conducted, yesterday, a security operation targeting one ISIS operative in the town of Tal Hamis.

"Our units surrounded the whereabouts of the terrorist, apprehended him and confiscated a quantity of explosives, weapons, and ammunition in his possession. According to initial information, the terrorist was about to carry out a terrorist act in the region. Additionally, he participated in several terrorist attacks targeting our forces and civil and service institutions," said the statement by the SDF Media Centre.

The statement added: "Our forces affirm their unwavering commitment to tracking down and eliminating the ISIS terrorist cells, dismantling their hiding places, and cutting off their resources to preserve the security and stability of our regions and ensure the safety of our people."
