Manbij Military Council General Command releases 3-day war balance sheet

The Manbij Military Council General Command said that the attacks by the Turkish state and SNA gangs on the Tishreen Dam and Qerekozak Bridge were repelled. 210 gangs were killed, 39 military vehicles and 6 tanks destroyed, and 5 UAVs shot down.

The Manbij Military Council General Command issued a written statement regarding the attacks by the Turkish state and its Syrian National Army (SNA) gangs on the Tishreen Dam and Qerekozak Bridge as well as the results of the clashes of the last three days.

The Manbij Military Council General Command said: "Our Manbij Military Council forces displayed heroic resistance against the attacks by the occupying Turkish state and its gangs on the Tishreen Dam and Qerekozak bridge. Our forces repelled the attacks after 3 days of intense attacks, and the gangs, who could not hold on in the face of this resistance, suffered great losses and were forced to withdraw.

At a time when a ceasefire agreement was reached through American mediation and the Baath regime fell, the gangs linked to the occupying Turkish state attacked the Qerekozak Bridge and the Tishreen Dam southeast of Manbij with heavy weapons and more than 20 Turkish AKINCI type unmanned aerial vehicles. There were violent clashes between our forces and the gangs in response to these attacks."

The statement continued: "The occupying Turkish state, which provided air support to the gangs, bombed the Tishreen Dam with UAVs, and as a result of the bombings, the dam suffered extensive material damage. On the other hand, more than 160 UAV attacks were carried out on our forces and points belonging to our forces in the conflict zones. The Turkish state wanted to break the resistance of our forces in this way, but our fighters, employing new war tactics, dealt heavy blows to the gangs.

Our forces ambushed and killed many gangs, including gang leaders, and destroyed their tanks and military vehicles. Under the leadership of the YPJ, our fighters fought against dozens of gangs with the spirit of historical resistance. The gangs' attempts to seize the Qerekozak Bridge and the Tishreen Dam, and their dirty plans to plunder the property and assets of the Syrian people, were foiled as a result of the resistance of our forces. In addition, the occupying Turkish state's plan to seize the dam and use it as a blackmail tool against all the peoples of Syria was also foiled."

3-day balance sheet

The statement included the 3-day battle balance sheet at the Qerekozak Bridge and Tishreen Dam.

"Enemy death toll: 142 at the Tishreen Dam, 68 at the Qerekozak Bridge, including 13 gang leaders, totaling 210 gangs were killed.

Enemy wounded: Hundreds of gangs were wounded.

Destroyed military vehicles: 28 at the Tishreen Dam, 39 at the Qerekozak Bridge.

Destroyed tanks belonging to the Turkish state: A total of 6 tanks were destroyed, 2 at the Tishreen Dam and 4 at the Qerekozak Bridge.

Kamikaze UAVs shot down: 5

8 of our fighters were martyred and 13 of our fighters were wounded in the heroic resistance our forces displayed against the attacks.

As the General Command of the Manbij Military Council, we salute the heroism and resistance of our fighters and bow respectfully to our martyrs who left their mark on the history of resistance. We reiterate our promise that we will further grow the resistance in order to be worthy of the interests of our people and the sacrifices of our heroic martyrs."
