The Manbij Military Council Press Centre issued a statement regarding the ongoing fighting in and around the Tishrin Dam and announced that a vehicle belonging to the mercenaries of the occupying Turkish state was destroyed along with its occupants during the clashes.

“Our fighters of the Manbij Military Council foiled the attack of the invading Turkish state-backed mercenaries near the Tishrin Dam in the morning hours today. Our forces have launched a search and clearing operation in many villages around the dam used by the mercenaries for attack purposes and the operation continues,” the statement on Monday said.

The statement added that a military vehicle belonging to the mercenaries was destroyed in the vicinity of the Qereqozaq Bridge.
