The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and the International Coalition forces have conducted a joint patrol along the eastern bank of the Euphrates River in Deir ez-Zor. During the joint patrol, the forces listened to the concerns of the local populace regarding the repeated attacks by ISIS and militias affiliated with the Syrian regime’s security services.
The joint patrol forces emphasized their continued commitment to securing stability, improving the people’s lives, and preventing hostile elements from disrupting their daily livelihoods. To bolster these efforts, the joint patrol forces confirmed that they have increased their combat power in the region to protect the people and their interests from threats posed by hostile parties.
In addition, the joint patrol forces distributed leaflets to inform the public about their upcoming missions.
These joint patrols are a direct response to repeated requests from the region’s tribes and people during previous meetings with the SDF General Command and the International Coalition.
