The co-chairs of the Executive Council of the Democratic Autonomous Administration of Northern and Eastern Syria, Hisên Osman and Evîn Siwêd, received a delegation from the Catalan Parliament consisting of deputy Robin Wagner, and chair of the Popular Unity Party and deputy, Carles Albert.
The Democratic Autonomous Administration made a statement on its official website regarding the content of the meeting.
The two sides discussed the obstacles caused by the attacks of the Turkish state on the regions of Northern and Eastern Syria and Ankara’s attempts to occupy Syrian territory.
The experience of the Democratic Autonomous Administration was discussed at the meeting, as well as the gains of this model, which is a permanent solution to this situation, said the representatives of the Autonomous Administration.
The Catalan delegation renewed their support for the Autonomous Administration and emphasized the development of cooperation between the two sides.
