At least 5 mercenaries killed in counterattacks by Manbij Military Council

Despite the ceasefire, attacks by Turkey and its proxy force SNA continue around Manbij. The Manbij Military Council responds with counterattacks to attempts by the occupiers to take over areas east of the Euphrates as well.

Despite the ceasefire, the Turkish army and its jihadist proxy force SNA continue their attacks on the Manbij region. The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and their member units are responding with counterattacks to attempts by the occupying forces to advance into other areas of the autonomous region. The focus remains on the strategic Qereqozax bridge, which connects Manbij with Kobanê, and the Tishrin Dam near Tabqa.

Since last night, intensive air and ground attacks have been taking place in the area as the invasion troops are advancing from three sides with tanks and armoured vehicles.

The Manbij Military Council reported that three SNA mercenaries were killed in post-battle fighting around the Tishrin Dam on Thursday.

On the other hand, the occupiers attacked the village of Dêr Hafir in Manbij earlier today. Members of the Manbij Military Council responded to the attack and 2 mercenaries were killed. The vehicle used by the mercenaries for the attack was also destroyed.
