YPG: Four mercenaries killed in Afrin

YPG units continue hitting the occupation forces in Afrin.

Within the scope of the second phase of the Resistance of the Age in occupied Afrin, YPG (People’s Defense Units) forces continue their operations against the Turkish invasion army and its jihadist mercenary allies.

According to a statement published by YPG Press Office, details of the most recent actions by YPG are as follows;

“On September 3rd, our forces carried out a successful action in the Mariamin village of Afrin’s Shera district, targeting a military vehicle belonging to the Liwa al-Shamal mercenary fraction. As a result, all 4 mercenaries in the vehicle were killed. Their names are as follows: Abdoulkarem Shihade (from Homs), Dibo Ismail (Aleppo), Omer Heshesh (Idlib) and Muhammed Mustafa (Menagh).

Also, concerning the operations that had been carried out by our forces on the night of September 3rdin Afrin city center and in the countryside of Afrin’s Sherawa district and which resulted in the death of 15 mercenaries, including a commander Ahmed Semir Brier, we have been able to confirm that 4 soldiers of the Turkish invasion army were killed. We couldn’t share this detail in our previous press release because the exact number of the killed Turkish soldiers wasn’t yet clarified.”
