Women collect signatures in Marseille demanding removal of PKK from list of terrorist organisations

Arin Mirkan Women's Council took over the tent protest that continued on its 5th day in Marseille. The women collected many signatures and introduced Abdullah Öcalan's library to visiting institutions.

The tent action organised by Arin Mirkan Women's Council began on 4 December in Marseille, as part of the actions promoted to collect signatures to remove the PKK from the EU list of terrorist organisations.

Arin Mirkan Women's Council took over the tent action on the 5th day. Collecting signatures in the tent that opens at 11 am in the morning, activists distributed informational leaflets to passers-by.

Many institutions and organizations visited the tent, which also houses a mobile library with books by Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan.

Activists of Arin Mirkan Women's Council called on people to participate in the action to be held in Marseille, as in many other centers of Europe, on Saturday, Freedom for Abdullah Öcalan Day.

In Marseille, the action will start at 1 pm in Canabiere square and a march will take place in Vieux Port square.
