The PYD-Hannover led the celebration of the SDF, YPG, YPJ for their victory over ISIS in Rojava and Northern and Eastern Syria.

Kurds and their friends met at Steintor Square in Hannover, carrying flags of the YPG, YPJ, SDF, TEV-DEM.

DKTM (Democratic Kurdish Community Center) Hannover branch co-chair Altun Bischoff said: “The end of ISIS in Rojava does not mean the total elimination of it, since ISIS chef, Erdogan, would make sure it will continue. Which is why we need to throw him in the dustbin of history at the 31 March elections. We the Kurdish people - he added - who are on the side of the oppressed peoples and all those calling themselves democrats and revolutionaries, should make sure that the AKP-MHP alliance ends on 31 March.

As Kurdish women have ended ISIS in Raqqa, so we can end Erdogan’s rule in Ankara.”

PYD-Hannover member Bavê Emer said: “Erdogan is the head of the snake, and thus we must crush the head of the snake in order to end ISIS in Syria.”
