The Operation Cizire Storm launched by Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) on September 9 to liberate Deir ez-Zor countryside from ISIS continues successfully on its 117th day.

SDF fighters launched an offensive Thursday morning to liberate the ISIS-occupied villages of Al-Jadila and Alyz located 23 km southeast of Mayadeen.

Following fierce clashes with ISIS gangs, both villages were cleansed of gangs. 11 ISIS members were killed during the fighting.
