As attacks by Turkish state forces against civilians continue in the sixth day of the curfew in Silvan district of Amed, special operation forces have started to fire bombs on areas outside the military security zones as well.

A mortar shell and missile fired by special units have targeted the Gazi Street in Cami neighborhood, which caused a great damage on many houses and workplaces in the area.

Pieces of the mortar shell have also hit the house of Çiçek family, leaving 65-year-old Mehmet Emin Çiçek injured. The man was rushed to hospital by the residents in the neighborhood who rushed to the scene on hearing the screams of his wife Fatma Çiçek.

Fatma Çiçek said they didn't want to leave their home despite the ongoing attacks by Turkish forces and the insistence of their children to leave there for their safety.

The woman told that the explosion broke all the windows of their house, after which broken pieces of glass hit his husband's body and left him in blood on the balcony where he was smoking when the incident occurred. She said she shouted and asked help from the people around as she couldn't deal with the situation alone. Some residents of the neighborhood came to the scene after that, and took her husband to hospital.

Following the mortar fire, a missile fired by special units hit the wall of a house on the street. While the missile remains in the wall unexploded, it grabbed attention that police came to the scene, checked the fate of the missile, and left there soon.
