Three villages and four hamlets liberated by SDF
YPG-led Syrian Democratic Forces advancing towards Raqqa in the Operation Wrath of Euphrates have liberated three villages and four hamlets.
The fourth phase of the Operation Wrath of Euphrates continues in its fifth day.
Clashes that erupted around the Misharfa village to the south of Raqqa and in the al-Rîhaniyan and Kebesh villages west of Raqqa Sunday morning continued into late night hours. SDF fighters liberated three villages and four hamlets in the region from ISIS gangs.
During mop-up operations launched in the liberated areas, SDF fighters captured many arms of the gangs in addition to 4 corpses.
In the village of Misharfa, 13 ISIS corpses and a large quantity of ammunition remained in possession of the SDF.
Wrath of Euphrates fighters have advanced 10 km north of Raqqa in the fourth phase of their operation.
